Vehicle sales decline in September

Vehicle sales for September declined by 12.2 % year-on-year in September 2021, compared to a growth of 30. 2% y/y in August 2021.

Vehicle sales were mainly driven by extra-heavy commercial, up 52.6% y/y , with passenger vehicles up 36.7% y/y.

According to Simonis Storm ,Vehicle sales are still trending below the long run monthly average of 1,218. Since the V shaped recovery seen last year , monthly vehicle sales have averaged 755.
