The Pupkewitz Group of Companies is investing N$200 million in the construction of a new Pupkewitz MegaBuild Lifestyle Store as part of its expansion plan.

The MegaBuild Lifestyle Store will be a one-stop shopping destination catering to a wide array of customers.

“The substantial investment in expanding and revamping the group’s footprint across the country. With a total capital input of almost N$200 million, our latest venture is further testimony to the group’s stated intention of ongoing investment and growth within Namibia,” Pupkewitz Holdings Group Finance Director, Eugene Shepherd, said.

According to Pupkewitz MegaBuild Managing Director, Martin Schoeman, the MegaBuild Lifestyle Store will incorporate features such as brick-and-click tech integrations, curated consultation zones, experiential pods, and a coffee shop.

“We have set out to transcend traditional retail norms and envision a space that not only caters to fundamental home improvement and construction needs but also ignites creativity,” he said.

Schoeman said the store will also feature knowledgeable staff, efficient check-out facilities, and ample parking space.

“In line with the group’s commitment to developing SMEs within its ecosystem and stimulating local job creation, the new MegaBuild Lifestyle Store will provide dedicated space for local retail products, actively supporting the development of Namibia’s supply chain,” he said.

The Pupkewitz Group has over 1,800 employees across the country and a presence in more than thirty localities.

The company’s recent expansion includes new locations in Outapi, Eenhana, and Okahao, with enhanced offerings for Grootfontein and Mariental in the advanced planning stages.
