FNB Namibia has won five PMR.africa Business Excellence Awards.

The awards ceremony was held on Wednesday, and FNB Namibia received two Diamond Arrow Awards for Business Banking and Digital Banking Services, and three Golden Arrow Awards for Personal Banking, Banks Credit Cards, and Banks (Agriculture), respectively.

The awards recognize companies and institutions that have excelled in their respective sectors over the past 12 months.

A random national sample of 200 respondents comprising CEOs, managing directors, business owners, company directors, managers, and senior government officials based in Namibia, participated in a country-wide survey to rate the companies and institutions.

According to the survey, FNB Namibia emerged as a leader in various banking categories, including business banking, personal banking, and digital banking services, among others.

Speaking on the win in the Business Banking category, FNB Namibia Executive Officer for Commercial, Sepo Haihambo, said, “We are excited about this recognition because it means that our solutions are paving the way to more inclusive economic growth that will go a long way towards achieving a globally competitive Namibia.”

In addition, Nangula Kauluma, FNB Namibia Executive Officer for Retail, said, “At FNB, we keep our customers at the center of everything that we do, which is a big part of our success. These awards are yet another reminder that industry leaders recognize the innovative products, services, and solutions that make a positive impact on our customers’ lives.”

The PMR Awards are considered as a significant achievement in the financial industry, reflecting a company’s commitment to customer service and satisfaction, as the survey is based on the perceptions of the respondents.
