Letshego Holdings Namibia has confirmed the resignation of Melvin Angula as Chief Executive Officer of Letshego Micro Financial Services, a subsidiary of the Group.

The group said Angula’s position formed part of its executive management structure and reported directly to the Group Chief Executive Officer.

It added that established leadership succession and governance processes are in place to ensure continuity and stability across the business.

“Letshego thanks Mr Angula for his dedicated service and contribution to the business, and we wish him continued success in his future endeavours,” said Ester Kali, Chief Executive Officer of Letshego Holdings Namibia told The Brief.

The Group said its leadership and governance structures remain fully intact, despite a challenging and increasingly competitive operating environment, particularly within the banking and financial services sector.

Letshego Holdings Namibia said it remains focused on maintaining business stability and growth, while continuing to deliver value to its stakeholders, including customers and shareholders.

The Group added that its strategic priorities are centred on resilience, sustainability and long-term positioning.

Angula joined Letshego in December 2023 from Mobile Telecommunications Limited, where he served as Chief Commercial Officer.
