Pankratius (PK) Kondjamba has been appointed Namdeb’s substantive Engineering Manager effective 1 December 2023.

According to Namdeb, Kondjamba’s appointment is the result of a successful recruitment process after acting in the role.

Holding a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of Cape Town, as well as a master’s in business administration from Steinbeis University Berlin in Germany, Kondjamba recently led the Engineering team in hosting a festive-themed engagement session for leaders across Namdeb.

At the same platform, Namdeb’s CEO, Riaan Burger, commended the Namdeb Team’s achievements for 2023.

Reflecting on the incredible journey that supports Namdeb’s purpose of Mining for Good, Burger emphasized the milestones achieved with the completion of major ramp-up requirements and the effective scaling up of operations as envisaged with the new Long-Term plan.

The Namdeb CEO reiterated that collective accomplishment contributes to ensuring a better tomorrow for the business, community, and Namibia at large.
