Cabinet Secretary George Simataa has announced the appointment of Penda Ithindi as the Executive Director of the Ministry of Mines and Energy for a fixed 5-year term with effect from 1 December 2023.
He replaces Bryan Eiseb, who acted in that capacity for 12 months following the retirement of Simeon Negumbo.
Ithindi served as the Deputy Executive Director in the Ministry of Agriculture, Water, and Land Reform.
Prior to that, he was the Deputy Executive Director or Special Technical Advisor to the Minister of Finance and Public Enterprises.-miningandenergy.com.na
