FNB Namibia has won five awards at the 2023 Global Private Banking Awards hosted by Euromoney.

The bank has been named Africa’s Best Bank for High-Net-Worth Individuals in Namibia, as well as Africa’s Best Bank for Digital, Discretionary Portfolio Management, ESG Investing, Investment Research, and Wealth Transfer or Succession Planning.

FNB Namibia Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Erwin Tjipuka said that the accolades reflect the bank’s promise to deliver exceptional client service every day.

“There is nothing more rewarding to us than helping our clients fulfill their goals for their lives, families, and communities. We are focused on providing advice-led solutions that transition beyond banking to become an integrated advice partner connecting the dots between our customers’ day to day activities as well as their aspirations and goals,” he said.

“FNB Namibia continues to build competitive investment, insurance, lifestyle, and business solutions to best deliver to customers’ goals. This is all underpinned by the ease and safety of our platform and extensive network of advisors.”

For 20 years, Euromoney has been recognising the best in private banking and wealth management across the globe through the Private Banking and Wealth Management Survey.

The 2023 awards celebrate the achievements of the world’s leading private banking and wealth management institutions in client service, product development and commitment to the sector.

According to Euromoney, this year’s awards received a record number of submissions from banks in their regional and country awards program, which covers more than 50 regional awards and best bank awards in 100 countries.

Country winners are based on in-house research and editorial teams, while regional and global winners were first judged and scored by an external judging panel before being confirmed by the Euromoney editorial team.
