Shakwa Nyambe, Managing Director of the energy law firm SNC Incorporated, has been appointed Regional Leader for Sub-Saharan Africa within the Frontier Energy Network.

He is one of five regional appointments announced this month. The others include Ian Cross, Managing Director of Moyes & Co, as the Regional Leader for South East Asia; Amalia Olivera-Riley, Executive Business Advisor at Subsurface Consultants & Associates, as the Regional Leader for Europe & UK; and Jennifer Medcalf, President & Partner of The REACH Group, who has been appointed as the Regional Leader for North America.

Each Regional Leader, according to the Frontier Energy Network, has been selected for their high standing within their local region’s energy industry.

“I am delighted to announce such a high-caliber group of Regional Leaders. These individuals are true leaders in their fields and possess outstanding professional reputations. The work that Ian, Amalia, Shakwa, and Jennifer undertake aligns with Frontier’s core values, and each has been appointed in recognition of their commitment to the sustainable development of their region’s energy industry,” said Frontier CEO Gayle Meikle regarding the appointments.

“By appointing Regional Leaders, our existing international Membership will benefit from an increased number of easily accessible events and region-specific market insights. Equally, our Regional Leaders will also focus on growing our regional Membership, providing energy professionals in each area with an enhanced network and the associated benefits of increased connections and access to opportunities.”

Established in 2020, the Frontier Energy Network has rapidly become one of the energy industry’s most respected professional networks, designed for senior-level individuals driving change in the sector.
