World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, is in Namibia on a 2-day official visit.
The purpose of his visit, according to the WHO, is to strengthen collaboration on public health matters of mutual concern for the organization and the Government of Namibia, in line with WHO’s strategic priority of achieving universal health coverage for all people of all ages.
Ghebreyesus is expected to hold bilateral meetings with President Hage Geingob, First Lady Monica Geingos, and the Minister of Health and Social Services, Dr. Kalumbi Shangula.
