Digital KYC and compliance solutions company, IDToday, has announced its decision to relocate all its operations and customer data to the Paratus Armada data center.
The move, according to the company, aims to bolster security and data protection measures, ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.

By transitioning its operations to a locally hosted data center, IDToday aims to enhance the security and privacy of its clients’ data, offering them increased peace of mind,” said IDToday CEO Chris Botha.
He stated that by transferring all customer data to the Paratus Armada data center, IDToday aims to minimize the risks associated with offshore data storage, such as jurisdictional complexities and potential data breaches.
“This strategic move enables IDToday to exercise greater control and oversight over its infrastructure while capitalizing on the secure environment provided by the data center,” said the CEO.
The Paratus Armada data center, constructed to meet Tier III standards, boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure and cutting-edge security protocols. The facility is fully certified, including ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS certifications.
Botha mentioned that its robust and resilient design ensures high availability, resilience, and protection against potential downtime or system failures.
“This aligns perfectly with IDToday’s commitment to maintaining the utmost integrity and safety of its customers’ sensitive information. The facility adheres to international standards and regulations, assuring IDToday’s clients of top-notch data protection,” he said.
The Paratus Armada data center serves as a secure hub for hosting critical data and supporting various digital services across the country.
Paratus invested over N$123 million to build the state-of-the-art facility with advanced security features, including biometric access controls, surveillance systems, and fire suppression systems.
