Silvester Wayiti has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of HopSol Africa, a subsidiary of listed ,Alpha Namibia Industries Renewable Power Limited (ANIREP), effective from February 1st, 2023.

This follows the retirement of Robert Hopperdietzel, who had been the CEO of HopSol since its inception in 2012, on March 31st, 2023.

“I’m humbled to join and take charge of HopSol Africa, an organization that has been setting standards in renewable solar energy for the past decade. I am equally proud of the quality and efficiency culture and traditions of captivating that is HopSol Africa’s doctrine and look forward to leading its bespoke and refined team of diverse talents to new heights to the benefit of stakeholders in Namibia and potential scalability across the SADC region”, Wayiti said.

Wayiti is a Professional Electrical Engineer with 14 years of experience and a Business, Engineering and Management graduate from accredited universities.

Robert Hopperdietzel is credited with growing HopSol Africa (Pty) Ltd to become a leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction and Operations & Management provider in Namibia.
