The Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA) says it has collected close to N$1 million in administrative penalties in the past two weeks from undervalued and undeclared goods being imported into the country, coupled with incidents of false declarations.

“NamRa is determined to improve its role in facilitating legitimate trade, whilst at the same time enhancing the protection of society and the Namibian borders against the importation and exportation of illicit goods,” NamRA Spokesperson, Steven Ndorokaze said.
