Titus Ndove has been appointed as the new Executive Director in the Ministry of Finance, with effect from the 1st of February 2022, a development which has been confirmed to The Brief by officials in the ministry.

Ndove, a holder of a Masters in Financial Economics from London, is currently Head: Public Sector and Market Intelligence at Standard Bank Namibia, was previously Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance and Director of Financial Markets at the Bank of Namibia.

He replaces Ericah Shafudah who opted for early retirement in July of last year to join the World Food Programme (WFP) after 22 years in the public service.

Francois Brand, Head of the Procurement Policy Unit in the Ministry of Finance has been Acting Executive Director since August 2021.
