President Hage Geingob has postponed the 34th COVID-19 update on the country’s national response measures which was due to be delivered on Monday.
According to the Presidency, the update has been rescheduled to tomorrow, 14 September 2021, at 11h00.
The planned announcement, comes after South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa on Sunday announced that the neighboring country will move to adjusted level 2 lockdown as from Monday.
Gatherings in the country will be limited to a maximum of 250 people indoors,500 people outdoors, with the measures set to be reviewed in 2 weeks, depending on the state of the pandemic.
