GIPF hunts for new CEO

The Government Institutions Pensions Fund (GIPF ) is in the market hunting for a new Chief Executive Officer/Principal Officer amid indications that the incumbent CEO, David Nuyoma, will retire in June next year.

Namibia is set to launch the National African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Implementation Strategy and Action Plan for 2022 – 2027 aimed at taking advantage of a market of about 1.3 billion people in 55 AU member countries with a combined GDP of US$3.4 trillion.

The Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB) has urged stakeholders to come up with new ways to unlock growth in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector.

Finland is scouting for trade and investment opportunities in Namibia’s energy sector, with a particular focus on green hydrogen.
