Sanlam Group Namibia has partnered with The Brief to host a monthly economic discourse dubbed ‘Sanlam Brief Sessions’ aimed at providing informative discussions on topical economic and developmental issues.

Sanlam Namibia Group Chief Executive Officer Tertius Stears said The Sanlam Brief Sessions strive to cultivate impactful discussions that have the potential to bring about positive transformations in the country’s economic environment.

“This transformative initiative aims to provide a monthly platform for thought-provoking discussions on topical issues in business, finance, and economics, furthering Sanlam’s commitment to contribute to the growth of the Namibian economy and its people,” Stears said on Tuesday.

He said Namibians can engage in these discussions either by attending the events in person or by accessing live streams thereby promoting inclusivity and accessibility for everyone.

“These sessions will offer a platform for experts, thought leaders, and the public to exchange ideas, discuss trends, and explore solutions that can drive economic progress in Namibia. The economic landscape is constantly evolving, influenced by factors such as technological advancements, geopolitical shifts, and changing consumer behaviours,” Stears said

The panel discussions will explore crucial economic patterns, the ramifications of policies, and approaches for fostering sustainable development.

“In the realm of business, entrepreneurship, and innovation, our conversations will centre on driving organisational excellence, fostering entrepreneurship, and harnessing disruptive technologies,” he said.

“As we confront unprecedented challenges and disruptions, it is imperative that we explore new paradigms for business resilience, agility, and value creation. By engaging in open dialogues on best practices, emerging trends, and corporate governance, we can empower enterprises to thrive in an ever-changing environment.”

The Sanlam Brief Sessions will be held once a month, and for more information on attending or partaking in the sessions, make a reservation at marketing@thebrief.com.na.
