Nillian Mulemi has been elected Chairperson of the Government Institutions Pension Fund (GIPF) Board of Trustees effective 01 January 2022 to 31 December 2022.
Before her appointment , Mulemi was Chairperson of the GIPF Investments Committee and replaces Goms Menette, whose term is due to expire on 31 December 2021.
Mulemi is currently the Chief Executive Officer at the Petroleum Training and Education Fund (PETROFUND).
She holds a Master’s Degree in Finance obtained from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, a Bachelor’s of Law Degree, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting both obtained from the University of Namibia. She also holds a National Diploma in Cost Accounting obtained from then Polytechnic of Namibia. In 2018, she attended a Leadership Programme offered by Harvard University in the United States of America.
