The Ministry of Mines and Energy has announced that it will keep fuel prices for January 2022 unchanged.

The Government, through the National Energy Fund (NEF) is set to incur a bill of over N$110 million to cushion consumers against a fuel price hike in January, bringing its cost for the last three months to N$384 million.

The Ministry’s announcement comes after a December price increase of 70 c/litre for diesel and petrol.
